PF Volunteer Training Part Two: In Prison

When

27/02/2026
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

One of Prison Fellowship’s greatest strengths is our network of Volunteers who are passionate about our work and well equipped to minister to those in our prisons. PF seeks to offer all Volunteers professional, up-to-date training founded in our mission, vision and values.

Our volunteer training part two is for all Volunteers who visit prisons. To be eligible for a place on the training you will need to be a PF volunteer and have completed PF’s volunteer training Part One: Induction. After this training, Volunteers will continue to be supported and supervised by their Local Group Leader.

These sessions will take place on a regular basis. The same material will be repeated at each training event.

Please note this training is only open to PF volunteers, if you are not a PF volunteer you can apply to become one by visiting our website – Volunteer – Prison Fellowship

If all the places have been filled, please visit our events page to find future training events.

“I can honestly say that I never had as much satisfaction when I worked as I do now as a volunteer.” — Arthur, Chaplaincy Support volunteer

Volunteer with PF

Volunteers are the life-blood of our organisation, and what they do in the lives of those in prison and as they pray, is incredibly valuable. If you are looking to use your time to support some of the most marginalised people in our society to transform their lives, then volunteering could be for you.
