Send Angel Tree cards this Christmas
Maybe you send Christmas cards every year; maybe you have got out of the habit – this is a great year to begin! This Christmas, why not send your friends and family an Angel Tree Christmas card and help allow parents in prison to send a gift to their children.
Or perhaps you are stuck for something to buy a friend or family member this Christmas? You can donate a gift to our Angel Tree programme on behalf of a loved one here.
The artist writes ‘Angel Tree has been so kind to me and my children. My drawing is a simple design with a dash of colour. Each angel represents something important to me: hope, love, kindness, truth and patience. I have grown in confidence with my artwork – it is my happy place.‘
This year’s card is the winning entry in our 2023 Angel Tree Christmas Card competition open to people in prison across England and Wales.
The words inside the card read:
‘For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’
