Catherine De Souza
Chief Executive
Catherine joined us in September 2024. She is an ordained Elim Pentecostal minister and brings a wealth of experience in leadership and criminal justice having previously led churches, worked with prison ministries and served on several charity boards. Catherine is passionate about inspiring and equipping the Church to pursue justice, care for those who are marginalised and transform society.
Catherine is married to Dominic and they have two daughters. She’s a keen reader and enjoys cooking, movies, walks and good conversations over great food.

Executive Assistant

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as well as adding administrative capacity and office management function to the Staff Team. This is an integral role that requires a diligent, detail oriented individual, with a passion for the vision of Prison Fellowship.

Operations Manager
Stephen Hawkins
Stephen joined our staff team in 2009, having volunteered as a Sycamore Tree group facilitator for three years prior. As Operations Manager he supports our volunteers and the delivery of our programmes. Outside of PF Stephen volunteers in a local homeless project and enjoys cycling, supporting Liverpool FC and spending time with his daughter.

Fundraising Officer
Jo Henderson
Jo joined the team in 2022. She loves hearing about - and talking about - brilliant organisations like PF and so decided she might as well do it professionally. Her fundraising experience spans religious, charitable, and educational organisations. She is married to a vicar in the city of Brighton and Hove and when church life or her three daughters aren’t keeping her busy, she enjoys reading, walking the dog and a nice cup of tea.

Communications Officer
Rosie Orme
Rosie joined the PF team in November 2023 after four years in the Probation Service. She leads on our internal and external communications and loves to write! In her spare time she enjoys reading, perusing the charity shops and exploring new places with her husband. Her other love is her fluffy and very spoilt cat, Bear!

Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications
Andy Prescott
Andy joined Prison Fellowship in December 2015. He has worked as a fundraiser since 1999 and is responsible for securing income to fund PF’s operations. Outside of work, Andy is a keen genealogist and a fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.

Finance Manager
Rosemary Rinn
Rosemary joined Prison Fellowship as Finance Manager on a part-time basis in July 2021. She has worked in the charity sector since 2013.
In her spare time Rosemary enjoys art, pilates and cooking.

Internal Moderator
Kathryn Sole
Kathryn joined Prison Fellowship in 2024 as our Quality Assurance Internal Moderator. She has worked in education for over 15 years, including 10 years teaching art in a women’s prison.
She is very passionate about working with people in prison and after taking a break to raise her two children, Kathryn is delighted to be back in a role where she can support prison work.
Kathryn is an active member of her local church and loves spending time with her husband and two children. She loves being creative and always has a project on the go!

Programmes Coordinator
Tim Spargo-Mabbs
Tim Spargo-Mabbs was a victim of crime in 2014, which brought him into contact with Sycamore Tree. He has had a career in Social Care, specialising in Learning Disabilities. He was appointed to co-ordinate Letter Link and Angel Tree in May 2022. As a classics graduate, he loves relating the world of the Bible to the Empires of the Ancient World.

Supporter Care
Chloe Townsend
Chloe joined us in 2023 after 8 years as a full-time mum. Before that she worked in Supporter Care for the charity Samaritans. She loves reading, going to the theatre and baking with her son.

Head of Finance
Ian Williams
Ian joined Prison Fellowship as the part time Head of Finance in 2018. Ian brings a wealth of experience in the charity sector, most recently with Raleigh International. He is married with four children and enjoys playing golf and squash.
