Back To All PF Updates

Welcome, Anita!

We’re excited to introduce you to our new staff member!

Anita Boniface joined PF in August, taking over the role of Communications Officer from Fiona Koefoed-Jespersen.

Anita qualified as a journalist in 2012 and has worked in Christian charity communications ever since. Most recently she was Senior Media and Communications Officer for the St Vincent de Paul Society, a Christian charity dedicated to alleviating loneliness.

Outside of PF, Anita enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting art galleries and gardens, and writing, especially about social justice and mental wellbeing.

She loves listening to people’s stories and she volunteers as a peer mentor in the area of criminal justice for the charity Together for Mental Wellbeing.

In her first month at PF, Anita has seen the hard work and dedication of PF staff and volunteers. She hopes she will be able to contribute her own experiences toward helping PF inspire justice and mercy for prisoners. And she looks forward to helping communicate the message of hope for people in prison.

“I can honestly say that I never had as much satisfaction when I worked as I do now as a volunteer.” — Arthur, Chaplaincy Support volunteer

Volunteer with PF

Volunteers are the life-blood of our organisation, and what they do in the lives of those in prison and as they pray, is incredibly valuable. If you are looking to use your time to support some of the most marginalised people in our society to transform their lives, then volunteering could be for you.
