DESCRIPTION:This course is designed to equip volunteers who tutor or lead c
 ourses with the essential skills and knowledge needed to lead courses with
 in a prison setting. It covers the following key areas:\n\n\n 	Volunteerin
 g within HMPPS multi-faith chaplaincy\n 	Creating a safe and welcoming lea
 rning environment\n 	Understanding barriers to engagement and how to overc
 ome them\n 	Different approaches to assessment within the prison environme
 nt\n 	Understanding different learning styles\n\nWho is the course for?\nT
 he course is aimed at Prison Fellowship volunteers who currently lead cour
 ses or small groups within prisons\, or who aspire to do so.\nThis may inc
 lude those leading Bible studies\, Alpha\, Olive Tree or other courses who
  do not have a teaching qualification or previous experience of leading a 
 course. Those who already have a teaching qualification are also encourage
